Nobody Gets To See The Wizard

Frightened? You’re talking to a man who has laughed in the face of death, sneered at doom, and chuckled at catastrophe.  I was petrified. - The Wizard of Oz The Wizard of Oz was a con man.  He swindled the people of the merry old land of Oz into believing he was a great and powerful being, not unlike God himself.  Yet in reality, he was nothing more than a sociopath.  He hid behind a ... Now it’s true, he valiantly attempted to help Dorothy get back to Kansas, declaring that he would take her there himself, but that was only AFTER he was exposed as a fraud.  Since Sociopaths are known to have entrepreneurial versatility, the minute he was no longer going to be revered by his loyal subjects as all the all-powerful, all knowing OZ, he had to quickly shift gears to Savior (another favorite of the sociopath).

Don’t Judge People on The Opinions Of Others

I received an email recently from a woman named "Marta" who was having difficulty with a woman in her town.  We went back and forth and she agreed to let me share her story.  I have removed names.  Here is an excerpt from her letter: For two years I have been working with this "woman".  We became fast friends and I truly liked her, but noticed she had this habit of always talking badly about ... For years I've fought against my hyper-sensitivity, ... Read the Post

I am proud to be sensitive.  Sensitivity is not synonymous with weakness, it's synonymous with great strength  We love too much, give too much and hurt too much but somehow we are built to withstand any emotional storm and come out the better for it.  So for those who can't deal with my sensitive nature, BE GONE! Because like the great Sammy Davis Jr. once sang "I gotta be me."

Anger: The worst poison

What am I going to do now?  I thought. This was the second time in my life that my biological father had abandoned me.  The first was in 1989 without a peep from him in thirteen years.  After being re-united in 2002, he went and did it again in 2017 after he was raided by the FBI for committing fraud. I was seething.  The anger I felt for this man was something I could not control.  Years of ... Read the Post
