Mastering Your Thoughts in a world of Illusion

Why are we here?  What is is all for?  What is my purpose?  If you find yourself asking these questions, you are not alone. I have often asked myself this very question causing me to have suffered through extreme bouts of anxiety and depression focusing on it.  Sometimes the very thought can bring me to a state of panic. Where do we go when we die?  Is there an afterlife?  Purgatory? Hell? ... Read the Post

Our thoughts create this reality that we live it, and we play it out, similar to what actors do on a stage.  We continue to play out these dramas in order for our souls to learn and grow, to remember that love is the only thing that is real.  The idea that we are not separate (ego) but rather part of this amazing, loving kindness that is present in all of creation."

Emotional Abusers: When the bruises are on the inside

It is the most prevalent type of terrorism.  It isn't coming from some foreign country or radical militia group, it comes from the very people we call friends, boss, co-workers and family, and often times by those we can't help but love. For years I've fought against my hyper-sensitivity, ... Read the Post

I am proud to be sensitive.  Sensitivity is not synonymous with weakness, it's synonymous with great strength  We love too much, give too much and hurt too much but somehow we are built to withstand any emotional storm and come out the better for it.  So for those who can't deal with my sensitive nature, BE GONE! Because like the great Sammy Davis Jr. once sang "I gotta be me."

Anger: The worst poison

What am I going to do now?  I thought. This was the second time in my life that my biological father had abandoned me.  The first was in 1989 without a peep from him in thirteen years.  After being re-united in 2002, he went and did it again in 2017 after he was raided by the FBI for committing fraud. I was seething.  The anger I felt for this man was something I could not control.  Years of ... Read the Post
